As a cranky old guy (and what else would expect from somebody with another WP blog entitled “persnickety”?) I’ve been dragged kicking and screaming by a younger, digitally hipper friend into this new integrated, holistic, interactive, multimodal digital process. And I think it’s going to be, as they say, a hoot and a holler.

Thanks for the welcome. Do I have a “presence” on ds106 other than what I post on my blog? Do my posts exist in the ds “space” other than on my blog? If so, where, and how do I see them, respond to comments, comment on other posts etc? This may be apparent to all except me, but I don’t get it. Thanks for any feedback…
Thanks for taking the digital plunge with your younger, digitally hipper (yet otherwise greener and slower) pal. Two multimodal digital pilgrims — one younger, one older — were eyeing an open course to develop their skills. The younger one exclaimed, “let’s jump in there and make a GIF!” The older one replied, “let’s ease in and make a TON of GIFs.”
